Research results

This paper presents a new developed evaluation method for tire cavity resonance. Pressure distribution of a tire cavity resonance is experimentally measured by using this method. It is expected that numerical and theoretical models can be confirmed by this proposed method. Acoustic vibration is generated by speaker.

Multi-Microphone System

This experimental facility can measure a pressure distribution in a tire cavity by 8 microphone sensors. Pressured tire is loaded with 400 kN by a hydraulic jack.
